Books on ElevenReader

ElevenReader is an AI reader app. I have decided to make my books available through it for accessibility reasons and to earn a bit of money.

Here’s how it works:

• I upload my book file to ElevenReader and check that it looks okay.
• Then, I fill in all the details about the book that they ask for and hit publish.
• A reader finds my book on ElevenReader and adds it to their library. They select a voice and begin listening either right away or later.
• When they have listened long enough for it to be a qualified listener, I get paid $1.10 for that listen. So, yes, listening via this app does support me.

It should be noted that these books are not produced audiobooks. They are just an AI voice reading a book. That means there could be mispronunciations, incorrect pacing, weird sounds, glitches, etc.

I am still working on producing audiobooks without those glitches and errors using an authorized voice replica named Christopher (that’s his voice name, not his real name, although he is a real person who is remunerated for the use of his voice).

I will still make these audiobooks available in all the places where I can, including YouTube, Kobo Plus, Patreon, and Spotify. (Spotify is a new option)

HOWEVER, making produced audiobooks takes time, and I can only get one book per month ready to release at the most.

In contrast, putting my books on ElevenReader is faster, since I should be able to upload one per week. And that makes this a way to make my books accessible to those who prefer (or need) audio sooner.
