This one is a bit of a spoiler post — view and read at your own risk. 🙂

Do you recognize this gentleman? I used him before for a Wordless Wednesday. You can find that appearance of him here.

“Viscount Westonbury to see you, Miss Bingley,” Harvey intoned.

The gentleman looked around the room, a furrow forming between his eyes. “I am looking for my brother, Colonel Fitzwill…i..am,” his speech slowed as his eyes landed on Lydia. A slow smile crept across his face.

Lydia’s eyes could not be wider, and Elizabeth understood why quite perfectly.

Leenie Brown

Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

  1. OMG!! I know why… I know why! I knew it!! I just knew it!!! This was the guy that wanted a kiss from Lydia. I figured he would show up sooner than later. I had forgotten about him. Oh, la! This is going to get sticky. Oh, dear. He better not get between Lydia and her Colonel. That would not be pretty at all. OMG! This is going to be hilarious. How can he maintain control with this knowledge of where he last saw her? Snicker… what fun. I can’t wait to read the rest of this.
