Heartland (Celtic Thunder)

Because St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated in March, I thought that this month would be a good month to feature some Celtic music on Mondays.

I’m pairing today’s song with a story where the father of the hero surely would have cried out to be saved from the waters of the Irish Sea. Unfortunately, he was not. (That’s a sad note to start the month on isn’t it? Sorry. The song, however, is much more upbeat than this quote. So, there’s that. 🙂 )

At All Costs is book four and the conclusion of my Willow Hall series. The hero of this story, who lost his father at sea, is perhaps my most-favorite Bingley. Bingley is not the only gentleman who finds his happily ever after in this book. The colonel is also so fortunate. Bingley and Richard work together on a few things in this book.

Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

  1. First things first… that music video was amazing and gave me goosebumps. Loved it. Next, I loved your Willow Hall series. Richard and Bingley working together was simply brilliant. Who was this guy? We don’t usually see a Bingley like that. I looked back on my review to remind me. I made a comment something like… Bingley and Richard could and would do what Darcy couldn’t or wouldn’t. I think I called them the enforcers for the story. LOL! Blessings, stay safe, and healthy.

    1. They were the enforcers 🙂 They were a fun pair of guys — I can just imagine the sorts of adventures they could get up to if I allowed them. LOL I’m happy you enjoyed the video. It’s one I could listen to over and over again. 🙂

  2. I guessed right, but I had forgotten that part of Bingley’s history. This was by far my most favorite Bingley, and we’ve seen some great ones but THIS guy….now he’s hero material….and sigh worthy.

    Loved the video. Woo!
